ByteFrame Ltd is a web development agency in Nairobi, Kenya, founded in 2025 by Wilfred Gweth and Joseph Ng'era. We build custom software for businesses that know what good looks like and refuse to settle for anything less.
Built from a frustration with the ordinary.
ByteFrame was born from a simple observation: too many Kenyan businesses were being handed generic, copy-paste digital products by agencies that treated every project the same.
We started ByteFrame because we believed the businesses of East Africa deserved better: software built specifically for them, not adapted from a template someone else already sold to five other companies.
From day one, we made a deliberate choice about how we grow: never faster than we can keep senior hands on every build. Scaling carelessly is how studios lose the thing that made them worth hiring in the first place. Every project we take on gets the founders' full attention, never delegated to a junior developer three layers removed from the people who pitched you.

We don't have a default template we adapt for every client. Your project starts from scratch, designed around your actual goals, audience, and context.
Handed over, fully documented
When we're done, we leave. Cleanly. Every credential, decision, and line of code is documented and yours, with no dependency on us to keep the lights on.

Every pixel in our interfaces is intentional. Every database schema is designed for what your product will need two years from now, not just today. Every piece of copy we write earns its place or it doesn't make the cut.
That's not perfectionism for its own sake. It's the recognition that the things clients notice last are the ones users notice first: the load time, the button that's slightly off-centre, the form that doesn't validate properly on mobile. We catch those before you do.

Words in an interface either help users or create friction. We write interfaces that guide people, not confuse them.
Security by default
Input validation, safe defaults, principle of least privilege. Baked into how we build everything, not added later.
